Meet Jessica Lopez
Jessica Lopez is the co-owner of Regio Tax Service, a family owned tax business in the DFW area. Lopez has been in the tax business for 12 years.
I came into the business knowing nothing, but I did have the desire and drive, and knew that I wanted more out of life than just a 9 to 5.
I must thank my boyfriend who at the time was just a family friend. He is the one who introduced me into the business and saw something in me, that I did not see in myself. He inspired me and taught me so much, so thank you to Cesar Baylon.
On days that I struggle, I like to remind myself how blessed I am and how much God has given me. I have always been a person who has open to advice and knowledge from others. There are so many points of views, and someone else's input could really open your eyes and change everything for you.
If I could give anybody advice, I have to say just do it now and take advantage of the time. What I wish I knew sooner was to really work hard in my 20's and go full force because you have all that energy and time - so invest in yourself. That, and save money while you are young.
I want everyone to know that you can! No matter your situation, your status, your failures... you can. Keep going and you will achieve whatever it is that you desire. Do not let anything hold you back. Do not let anyone's opinions hold you back, just keep going. Hard work really does pay off.
In the future I see myself traveling more. Helping raise my grandchildren, and overall just being happy.
